Follow new updates and improvements to Hirevire.

Save candidate files to Google Drive automatically

Connect Google Drive once and every candidate's videos, files, and report land in your own Drive, organised by job and candidate.

  1. Connect your Google account under My account → Integrations → Partners.

  2. Files save automatically. Every candidate goes to My Drive → Hirevire → Job title (id) → Candidate name (id) as soon as they finish their interview.

  3. Pick a stage instead, per job. Open Job Settings → Integrations and set Autosave when moved to. Choose Submitted, Shortlisted, Rejected, one of your custom stages, or Don't autosave.

  4. Save any candidate on demand. Click Save on the application details page. Once saved, the menu shows a link straight to that candidate's Drive folder and how many files are in it.

Why this matters

  • Your files, your Drive. Everything stays accessible even outside Hirevire.

  • Predictable structure. Job and candidate IDs are in the folder names, so nothing collides.

  • Share without downloading. Send a hiring manager a Drive folder link instead of a zip.

  • Stage-based control. Only archive the candidates who actually make it past screening.

Notes

  • The per-job setting overrides the account-level default.

  • Use the refresh icon next to Show in Google Drive to re-sync a candidate's files after an update.

New

Edit candidate details on an application

Typo in a candidate's email? Phone number they skipped? You can now fix it directly on the application instead of chasing the candidate for a resubmission.

What's New

  • Edit submitted answers like name, email, mobile, and date of birth right on the application

  • Fill in skipped fields. Anything the candidate left blank shows up under Not answered as a chip you can click to add.

  • Every change is logged in the Timeline tab, with the old value, the new value, and who made the edit

How It Works

Where: Job → Applications → open an application

  1. Click the field you want to change.

  2. Type the new value and hit the green tick to save, or the red cross to discard.

  3. Click a chip under Not answered to add a detail the candidate skipped.

  4. Open the Timeline tab to see the full edit history alongside stage changes.

New

Embed audio in job descriptions and questions

Talk your candidates through a task instead of writing it out. You can now embed audio anywhere you write instructions.

What's New

  • New audio button in the rich text toolbar for job descriptions and question additional details

  • Record directly in the browser, up to 5 minutes

  • Or upload an audio file, up to 50 MB

How It Works

  1. Click the audio icon in the toolbar.

  2. Tap the mic to start recording, or pick Upload an audio file.

  1. Save. Candidates play it inline while reading the instructions.

Notes

  • Pair audio instructions with Screen Recording questions to walk candidates through a task out loud instead of writing a long brief.
